Afghan civilians killed in airstrikes. French soldiers killed in airstrikes. The same has happened in Iraq. It goes to show that the US and its Allies are increasing resorting to airpower. It is tentamount to terrorism but in doing so it is allienating the people in these countries and generating more resistance.

What was it Oppenheimer said? I am Shiva, bringer of death? So now our airmen and women, well-intentioned they may be, are bringers of death to the innocent, the celebratory, the unsuspecting, and hopefully a few bad guys. Is it worth the bad karma, the human misery, the most grievous sin?
